IL GATTO GOFFO launched almost one year ago to the day, serving our local area of Brighton & Hove, more often than not hand-delivered to your door, by us. With the help of all of you, our fantastic and loyal customers we have gone from strength to strength during that period and we cannot thank you enough for your support.
Widening our delivery scope is a long-awaited natural progression and we are very excited to be making that leap. You may well be wondering: "What is going to change?"
Well, in what is a pretty big change for us we have made some tweaks logistically, but nothing too scary, we promise.
Limited Capacity: Every Thursday we will release a weekly batch of products into our online store. Once that batch is gone, everything is marked as “sold out” until we release another batch, the following Thursday.
Shipping: We will ship GiGi’s on Wednesdays and Thursdays. This means, for example, that an order placed on Friday would be shipped the following Wednesday. All orders are sent First Class by Royal Mail, expected to arrive on the next working day.
Themed Boxes: Through our website, GiGi's will now be curated and sold in themed boxes (full product info coming v. soon). You do still have the option of putting together a completely customised selection by coming to see us in person on any of our market days.
UK-wide scope: Our delivery service will extend to all UK locations. Needless to say we will no longer be making the deliveries ourselves!
Packaging: In order to be confident in offering this service we have had to beef up our packaging. A huge thanks to our beta tasters who provided valuable feedback in this process.
